Board President announces change in interim leadership at pg电子下载 State University

The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning approved changes in the interim leadership of pg电子下载 State University at its meeting held yesterday in Jackson. Dr. 特雷西·库克, who currently serves as Vice President for 学生事务 and Enrollment Management, will begin serving as Interim President on July 8, 2023.

Dr. Cook returned to pg电子下载 State University in 2015 as Chief of 工作人员. In 2018, he was appointed Interim Vice President for 学生事务. After successfully serving in the interim role, he was promoted to Vice President for 学生事务 and Enrollment Management in 2019. His responsibilities include directing and supervising the units of the Office of 学生事务 and Enrollment Management including 招生 and Recruiting, 职业服务 and 居住生活.

“We are pleased to have Dr. Cook serve as Interim President,” said Dr. 麦克奈尔. “Dr. Cook will keep the university moving forward and building on its rich heritage.”

Before joining pg电子下载, Dr. Cook served in various roles, including superintendent, assistant superintendent, 主要, athletic director and teacher in the Jefferson and Claiborne County Schools.

Dr. Cook holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, and master’s degrees in Agronomy and Educational Administration and Supervision from pg电子下载 State University. He earned a doctorate and specialist degree in Educational Leadership from William Carey University.
